Tomas Banik at a young age with the family pet dog Goro.
We understand how difficult it is say goodbye to a beloved pet. As a Pet Parent I know how upsetting it is to lose your companion.
I remember as a young boy, my first dog Goro. He was always by my side. He would sleep on my bed and wag his tail madly when I woke up. He would wait for me by the gate when I’d come home from school. He would snuggle me if I ever felt down. He’d come with us as a family when we drove to the beach for our summer holidays, enjoying splashing around in the water with us. When he passed away, I’d asked my parents where he’d gone, or when he’d be coming back.
Since Goro, I’ve lived with many different four legged friends. My current American Akita, Sasha, sleeps by my feet during the cold Catskill winters and sits by my side while I’m trying to work remotely. I can’t imagine coming home to find that Sasha was gone, or that she’d never come to greet me again as I open our garage door.
I understand how difficult it is to lose a companion. I promise that we will work hard to provide a simple and compassionate process so that you may feel positive closure and hopefully alleviate some of the painful emotions experienced during the grieving process.
Our staff are certified cremation operators who understand the need for respect and compassion during these challenging times.
