We understand how difficult it is say goodbye to a beloved pet. As a pet parent myself, I know how upsetting it is to lose your companion.
I remember as a young boy, my first dog Goro. He was always by my side. He would sleep on my bed and wag his tail madly when I woke up. He would wait for me by the gate when I’d come home from school. He would snuggle me if I ever felt down. He’d come with us as a family when we drove to the beach for our summer holidays, enjoying splashing around in the water with us. When he passed away, I’d asked my parents where he’d gone, or when he’d be coming back.
Since Goro, I’ve lived with many different four legged friends. My previous American Akita, Sasha, would sleep by my feet during the cold Catskill winters and sit by my side while I was trying to work remotely. I couldn’t imagine when my Sasha was gone. It was very upsetting to come home and not see Sasha, wagging her tail to greet me as I opened my garage door.
I understand how difficult it is to lose a companion. I promise that we will work hard to provide a simple and compassionate process so that you may feel positive closure and hopefully alleviate some of the painful emotions experienced during the grieving process.
